Conclusion:
Catholic prohibition does not have a primary influence on birth control reflected in a high birth rate, as other factors appear to play a greater role in birth rate (unemployment rate, education, infant mortality rate, short average lifespan, etc.). For example when comparing a high Catholic citizen state such as Mexico (82.7%) to a non-Catholic/low Catholic state such as China (3-4%), the results of childbirth and infant morality rates are approximately the same to one another even though they both differ when it comes to religious beliefs. The technologically conservative prohibitions against birth control among Catholic populations, does not really exist in behavior. In some countries with a high percentage of Catholic populations [such as Brazil (73.6)], have a high percentage of births, but depending on the country [such as Belgium (75%)] other factors are in play. Some factors that may be affecting the birth rate and the need for birth control is the level of education (such as sex-education and practicing safe sex) citizens are receiving in their home country. Within countries such as Austria (with a catholic population of 73.6) the level of education citizens receive is on average 16 years, yet in low to non-Catholic countries such as India (2.3% Christian population) receive on average an education level of 10 years. As a result high percentages of catholic population have a low percentage of births and infant morality rates.
